Services provided by Cancercareline....

Cancercareline provide a wide range of support services for anyone affected by cancer. These include advocacy, therapies, counselling, self-help support groups, internet cafe, day-trips and shortbreak  holidays.

 

 

 

TUESDAY FRIENDS

TUESDAY FRIENDS gather together every Tuesday  afternoon from 1.30pm in the cosy lounge of the Cancercareline House.  Together they welcome new guests, get to know each other while chatting and enjoying tea, coffee and cakes.

To help raise funds for this group they play bingo; hold a quiz and a raffle.

They often have guest speakers and demonstrations on a range of interesting topics.

Together they discuss and organise day trips for all Cancercareline clients. 

  C-RED MEN'S SUPPORT GROUP

Our men's group meets every Wednesday evening from 6.30pm - 8.30pm.   This is a general group for men who are affected by cancer.    You may be a patient, recently diagnosed or in remission.  You may be a carer or have a family member of friend with cancer.

 

Our facilitator, Neil, has been a senior counsellor with the charity for many years and  to coin a now well known phrase says 'Its Good to Talk'.    

You can also access our other services such as complementary therapy, our  internet cafe, and social trips., guest speakers or just have a cup of tea and a chat about the weather!

  CRAFT GROUP

CRAFT GROUP is held every Friday morning at 11.30pm in Cancercareline House.  They have achieved alot of new craft skills linked to creativity and produce a lot of beautiful merchandise to sell and raise funds for their group.
